Cairo Tower: what do users think?
Asma Halimi: My visit to the Cairo Tower was an incredible experience, offering breathtaking views of the entire city. However, I recommend arriving early to avoid the long wait and cold temperatures. Despite the wait, reaching the top was worth it as I witnessed the sprawling beauty of Cairo from above. Unfortunately, the cold weather made it challenging to stay up there for long, and we had to cut our visit short. I suggest dressing warmly and choosing a day with milder weather to fully enjoy the sights. Despite the cold, the Cairo Tower provides an unforgettable opportunity to see the city from a unique perspective. I visited in 2020.
Atef Mohammed Abo Al Magd: Cairo TowerCairo towerThe Cairo Tower is a tower located in the Zamalek neighborhood in Cairo in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and it is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Cairo. The Cairo Tower is sometimes called the Al Jazeera Tower. In 1956 and 1961 AD, it was made of reinforced concrete in the shape of the Egyptian lotus flower. The tower was designed by the engineer Naoum Shabib, and its height reaches 187 meters, which is about 43 meters higher than the Great Pyramid in Giza. This tower is distinguished as one of the prominent and famous landmarks. In Egypt, where there is a large number of expatriates who want to visit it from inside and outside Egypt, especially the Arab countries.

Machen: Title: The Great Pyramids of Giza: A Timeless MarvelReview:The Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, are an awe-inspiring testament to the grandeur and ingenuity of ancient civilizations. Standing tall and proud on the outskirts of Cairo, Egypt, these colossal structures have captivated the imagination of countless generations and continue to leave visitors in awe.Upon arriving at the site, the sheer size and magnitude of the pyramids are truly humbling. The Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest of the three pyramids, reaches a staggering height of 138 meters (455 feet) and was the tallest man-made structure for over 3,800 years. The precision with which these massive structures were built is nothing short of astounding, considering the technological limitations of the time.Exploring the pyramids is an experience like no other. As you venture through the labyrinthine passages and chambers, a sense of mystery and wonder engulfs you. It is hard not to be impressed by the complex architectural design that has stood the test of time. Inside, the intricate details, such as the well-preserved hieroglyphics and the sophisticated burial chambers, offer glimpses into the rich history and religious beliefs of the ancient Egyptians. The pyramids' iconic alignment with the celestial bodies, especially the North Star, demonstrates the ancient Egyptians' profound astronomical knowledge and their deep spiritual connection to the cosmos. Witnessing the sunset or sunrise from the vantage point of these architectural marvels is an unforgettable experience, as the colors of the sky create an ethereal ambiance that adds to the magic of the moment. While visiting the pyramids, it is worth taking the time to explore the adjacent Sphinx, an enigmatic and majestic monument that has stood guard for centuries. The sight of this mythical creature with the face of a pharaoh and the body of a lion is truly remarkable and adds another layer of intrigue to the Giza plateau. As with any popular tourist destination, the Great Pyramids of Giza can get crowded, particularly during peak seasons. However, the sheer magnificence of these ancient structures outweighs any inconveniences. To make the most of your visit, it is advisable to hire a knowledgeable guide who can provide fascinating insights into the history, symbolism, and construction techniques employed by the ancient Egyptians. In conclusion, a visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza is a journey through time, offering a glimpse into the extraordinary achievements of humanity's past. The majesty, scale, and intricate design of these pyramids are a testament to the ingenuity and dedication of the ancient Egyptians. Standing in their shadow and contemplating the mysteries they hold is an experience that will leave you humbled, inspired, and in awe of the wonders of the world.Rating: ★★★★★

Alex Drukpa.: The Great Pyramid of Giza is an awe-inspiring sight and a true wonder of the world. It's hard to believe that it was built over 4,500 years ago One of the best tourist attractions of the world. The experience could be better tough if there were investments to make it easier and more sustainable going from one pyramid to the other. Always nice to visit world heritage sites and one of wonders of the world. You can get a camel ride to get a view but try to arrange a price prior to getting on the camel. It's the freaking pyramids... they are amazing and a global icon of ancient history and travel. Most of all, being inside the pyramid was absolutely amazing. This was a real trip of a lifetime🙏🙏

Dark Myth: If you get the chance do the crawl inside the great pyramid. It's a small tunnel probably 3 feet by 3 feet because it was originally a maintenance tunnel. The main entrance is sealed up. But once you get through the narrow tunnel it opens up and you can walk the main chamber all the way to the tomb near the top. If you hate tight spaces this isn't for you because there's people squeezing coming in and going out.

Fadi Hassan: Any one should visit and read in history before the visit
Majed Al-Otaibi: A very unique and new scene for the Citadel of Salah El-Din and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali.... The moon during its sunrise over Cairo, as it illuminates the minaret of the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, which is considered the highest minaret in Cairo, with a length of about 84 meters. The Mosque of Muhammad Ali is also called the Alabaster Mosque because it is built of alabaster marble and is considered one of the most famous mosques in Cairo. It overlooks a panoramic view of Cairo almost completely, due to its presence within the walls of Saladin Citadel, the most powerful castle in Islamic Cairo, which witnessed many historical events for hundreds of years. The photo is not just a coincidence, but it needed a lot of planning and research 😁 I arranged for it for 10 days in order to determine the most appropriate place where I could photograph the moon during its sunrise so that it would rise with the same staff to the castle. And to be honest, it is an old building from the days of the Middle Ages 😂 .I hope you like it, and I really hope you reach the authorities specialized in tourism in the country, because pictures like this I love very much, as they benefit our country and keep a sweet invitation to visit the tourist places in Egypt

Twana Burhan mohamed ali: Cairo Citadel (or "Citadel of Saladin"): A Kurdish Citadel inEgyptKeleha Qahîrey@ (an "Keleha Selahedìn"): Keleheke Kurd li Qahire, Misir10 PHOTOS / WENE, SWIPE LEFT!•The Citadel of Saladin, or simply Cairo Citadel, is an enormous 12th century fortification in Cairo, the capital city of Egypt. Construction was started in 1176 and finished in 1183, making it the most ambitious fortification project of its time. The Kurdish Sultan Saladin made Cairo the seat of his ever-extending Sultanate and had this massive citadel built to protect his realm against the Crusaders. The citadel is strategically located on a promontory of the Mokattam hills overlooking Cairo. At the time, there used to be another city called "Fustat" but the Kurds merged it with Cairo by extending Cairo's City Walls, thus encircling and protecting both cities. The citadel was later extended by other dynasties.Saladin carried a yellow flag emblazoned with a double-headed eagle as his personal standard (photo 10 is a reconstruction). A gablestone (photo 9) of this eagle can be found on the citadel. The eagle is the Coat of Arms of Southern Kurdistan (Kurdistan Region in Iraq), Egypt (also found on the Flag of Egypt), Iraq, Palestine, Yemen, and Somaliland.Photo 7: view from the citadel over Cairo.Photo 8: old photo of the citadel. This Kurdish-built citadel still dominates the skyline of Cairo, the largest city in the Middle-East, and the 15th largest city in the world.

Sayed Helmy: An ancient castle built by Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi and became the residence of the sultans who ruled Egypt after him. Muhammad Ali built his mosque inside the castle, and it is distinguished by using alabaster in building its walls and columns, and for that reason it is called the alabaster mosque.A place worth visiting
Kunal Surana: Iconic mosque and historical museums
Stephanie Gunther: A must see spot in Cairo, the view is mind boggling! The interior of the mosque magical. The reason for only 4 rather than 5 stars is the plastic bootie over your shoes scam. Yes it is true that no shoes are allowed inside the mosque, but you can just take them off!! They charge you for the booties (after you have already paid the entrance fee), hundreds of visitors each day, imagine the turnover for a non-service and imagine all that single use plastic for no good reason at all. This is a hustle. Just take your shoes off. Easy peasy.

Vasileios Moulagiannis: The friendliest and quietest place in Cairo. People not trying to scum you here and disturbing you all the time. Be kind and say hello. Please bring chocolates for the kids!

Peivand Pirouzi: This is the old city of Cairo. A new city is being built and is very promising.
delta service: Very excellent service
mohammad garrah: We were at the funeral of a friend, and there were no signboards facilitating access
Jerry Han: Firstly it was a safe place to walk thru. No one really bother us. We greeted some locals in Arabic and they greeted us back. We took Uber to arrive at Maqad of Sultan Qaitbey. We then head towards and walk along Al Soultan Ahmed road until we pass under a flyover. We got another Uber near the flyover to get to our next destination. Along this route you will get to see old mosques, cemeteries and the local community. It is an interesting experience. It would be nice to prepare upfront some snacks or stationery to give away to random kids. It will really make their day.
