The following day I received paperwork which requested 30,000EGP custom charge for my product to be delivered. My package weighs 2.4kg, it sounds absolutely bizarre to request such penalty. When I enquired about this no one gave me a clear answer & something doesn’t add up. I’ll have to put my package to waste now.

Mohammad Fawzy: They do not continue the procedures but ask you to go and process your package requests by yourself in the National information and telecommunication (NITRA) and photocopy your papers before you go and there, you will be surprised that other agencies do process the requests of their costumers like UPS Nasr city, DHL, EBay or Photo Express. The bottom line, don't expect home delivery in all conditions. It depends upon where you live and the UPS local office that serves this region. They inform the mother company in thr states that your packages is delivered sothat you can do nothing by tracking once the package reaches Egypt while in fact you received nothing. Actual delivery may take up to a month. If you have the privilege of choosing an international shipping delivery try another option and insist of a true home delivery.
