Sabreen Hijazi: It is in a very nice area which is Zalamek , clean and tidy rooms.All employees are very nice and polite . Good and fast service.I had breakfast included with my reservation, Breakfast options are okay. Employees who work in dining hall very nice.Enjoyed my stay and would be back again.

Ahmed Zidan: The location is amazing, exactly at the centre of the city, beside Metro hub, and almost every facility you might need.The price: I give it very good if you compare it to the location and accommodation quality.Cleanliness: accepted, though it could be better. I had few issues with shower water drainage, I guess it need to be updated. The soap given daily is so economic and small! It doesn't take much if you be a bit more generous in this regard!. Otherwise, the housekeeper ladies, including Mona, were doing a real goid job.Wifi: horrible network. Absolutely need to be improved. I gave up on the Hotel wifi, and used my data to save my time and temper.Breakfast: average to below. There was only one sort of coffee, a cheap Nescafe that barely tastes as Nescafe.The Basteries!! including croissants were terribly the most downside of the breakfast, they were always old, hard to chew, obviously were kept from the day before or even older!. I was very disappointed. Live station for preparing omlets was the only positive thing in the breakfast that seriously needs to be taken care of.All in all, good experience, putting all points together including particularly the price, location and the accepted accommodation. It's 's a place that practically does the job for medium budget trip.

andri z.: It was a good experience. The room was big and clean, the staff were very helpful and responded very quickly to my messages before our stay. Breakfast could be better but you can find something to eat because there is variety. One negative thing is the street noise. Despite staying on the 12th floor, I could hear car horns and because I need absolute silence to sleep, I used earplugs.
AnJaneen Simenson: The price you see listed as "total price" on booking sites is most definitely not the total price. Significant taxes and fees are added even though it is stated that all taxes and fees are added. Beware so you aren't surprised by your bill! If you don't pay attention, your bill will not be what you expect!Beds are very bad. My room has two beds. One is hard as a rock while the other is insanely soft with no support at all.Rooms are reasonably clean. They could be better maintained. Overall, very disappointed. I wish I stayed at my bed and breakfast at the pyramids. They actually wanted their customers to be happy. The people here don't care at all.The message light is lit on the phone. I called reception asking if I have a message. The man doesn't understand. I attempted to explain the light on the phone but was unable to have him understand. So, who knows if there is a message.Rooms: Rooms are fine. Could be better maintained. The beds are bad and very uncomfortable.Safety: Not a safe area. Don't go out at night.

Vasily Alekseenko: The only good place about the hotel is location. Considering prices in Cairo it’s more on the expensive side. Everything is old and run down. No one did any refurbishment there probably when the hotel was built. Service is slow, their English is pretty bad for the central location. For the same price we could have stayed in local Airbnb located in Zamalek as well but newly renovated. The pool was surprisingly clean. On yeah on the “clean” part. For any Europeans travelling here for the 1st time, they really need to adjust their expectation on what clean here looks like. All the paces here look great at night with just a few lights but during the day it’s a different story, hotels are not an exception here.

Min Cheng: The location is great. The higher floors had views to the Nile River. But check-in took more than an hour at 7pm. Their reason was that the rooms had not been cleaned yet. My room, #529, was in need of repairs. Many outlets did not work properly. There was no hair dryer in the room. Only half of the water would go up through shower head. The toilet leaked all night. Breakfast food was not fresh. The barley porridge had spoiled milk smell. The cut fruit tasted like it was the leftover from the previous day.I would not recommend this hotel.

Alicia Cores González: No se alojen en este hotel!Tenemos tres noches reservadas en este hotel, la primera noche llegada a las 3h de la mañana y nos encontramos con una habitación inhabitable. Reclamos al hotel al día siguiente mostrándole las fotografías, por las condiciones en las que nos tienen y no les importa el cliente. Lo único que nos ofrecen es pagar más dinero (75€ por noche y habitación) para tener una habitación en condiciones. Después de haber pagado ya una gran cantidad de dinero a Soltour.Nos encontramos en la planta séptima en una habitación de los años sesenta, ruido insoportable a todas horas del tráfico, olor a tabaco en la habitación, ducha que no funciona, suciedad, moho, camas rotas, mucho frío, sin mantas … no son condiciones de tener alojados a los clientes en un Hotel Hilton.No recomiendo a nadie que se aloje en este hotel ni que reserve ningún viaje con la empresa Soltour.Es muy posible que se ponga enfermo durante su viaje por Egipto como nuestro caso, un crucero por el Nilo con estancia en El Cairo Hotel Ramses Hilton organizado por la empresa Soltour.No malgasten su dinero en este hotel, cuesta mucho esfuerzo ganarlo para luego terminar viendo situaciones desagradables durante sus vacaciones.Esto no son vacaciones!Actualizo cometario por la respuesta del hotel, no nos cambio el hotel por voluntad propia las habitaciones. Reclamamos a nuestra agencia de viajes, ellos desde España reclamaron a Soltour. Un delegado de Soltour en El Cairo se presentó en el hotel y cambiaron a algunas personas de habitaciones, otras las dejaron en las de los años 60, a la gente más mayor (nada considerados).El cambio de habitación supuso estar pegado a la obra de la reforma del hotel. Nada de tranquilo.Rooms: No reúne las condiciones de habitabilidad.Noteworthy details: Huyan de estar alojados aquí, a este hotel no le importa el cliente y en que condiciones los tiene. Lo más desagradable que nos hemos encontrado como país y como empresas. Sólo quieren sacarte el dinero. Esto es una trampa para turistas.

Ana Bruges: Terrible. DEF NOT A 5 STAR HOTEl. Lack basic amenities like drinks in the room, Jaír dryer, no robes, no international programming (these are the amenities that make a hotel 5 star) Save yourself and do not stay here. The elevators literally SHAKE very heavily while going up, the carpet is stained and damaged everywhere, the people in the front desk are rude and condescending. We checked in at 4 am and asked for TWO nights thinking we would get charged for an early check in and the two nights we requested. They charged the early check in as a full night and did not tell us about it even when we asked the front desk to confirm that it was two nights, they just charged it. Worst hotel experience I’ve had in my whole life and I’ve traveled half of the world.

The service, food, decor, location are all bar raising and set the new standard of luxury. Brooke: My husband and I took a two day trip to Cairo to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff at the St. Regis was phenomenal, very attentive, helpful, and paid attention to detail. They surprised us with a decorative room along with a cake and some treats. Dinner at the J&G was exquisite and the decorations in the hotel were stunning. I am a Marriott Platinum Elite and travel frequently with the brand. I can tell the difference between bad, good, and very good across the Marriott properties. I can say that this property is outstanding.

Y “Big Poppa Pump” M: We stayed at the hotel for a total of four days. The first two days were at their deluxe suite, which was effectively two separate bedrooms and a living room: one bedroom had three single beds; a king-sided bed and a single bed were in the second bedroom . The amenities and such were fine (most notably, the washing machine), and on the whole we really enjoyed the deluxe suite, which was also quite affordable. To be honest, I'd give the deluxe suite FIVE STARS for the price. As this is located in the middle of downtown Cairo, though, you can't expect it to be quiet in the area. Moreover, the reason why this review isn't five stars is because we stayed in a different four-bedroom suite (not a deluxe suite), whose designer should have been fired for even proposing having a shower installed visible to all (and which actually leaked - I'll include a photo). My other criticism would be the cafeteria service: Paralyzed snails would outpace the speed of service, and the breakfast itself wasn't terribly appetizing. One other note: We made our reservation through booking.com, which doesn't in fact have an accurate GPS location for the Hotel. Note, too, that the correct name of the hotel is "Valencia Hotel", not VG Hotel - which confused the taxi driver and even others in the neighbourhood.

No. The 4 first reviews are fake, and were written by the hotel, thats why i will only rate it 2 stars.The place is expensive and doesn't really offer the quality you'd expect from the price you paid. The breakfast was a bit too ''industrial'', but still ok. The rooms were clean and the wifi was OK for egyptian standards. The shower curtain was not placed in a smart way, because you end up with water everywhere on the bathroom floor. The staff was nice.

Ahmed Khaled: Good location, the room was nice, the breakfast was great, we almost wanted to stay longer only to enjoy the breakfast again! :) The service was very good too. We surely will come back if we are in Cairo again.

Miguel Correia: This Place is a joke. My 71 year old grandma Stayes here for 2 nights and the first night with a payed reservation checked in at 23h00 and her room wasnt available. She was only Able to enter the room that she payed for at 07h00 . This is a disgrace.

Sohabe Hashmi: Location is pretty decent and near the bustle of Cairo. Service was decent. Great hotel and lobby area, they don't build them like this anymore. Upscale feeling. A lot of shops and restaurants. There was entertainment. Food was decent. Service was pretty good.The casino was small but decent. The casino only accept USD and you can only get USD from your credit card at the casino, there are no bank machines dispensing USD at the hotel. You will not get any drinks at the Casino quickly as they mess around with you. Casino staff is different than hotel staff and are not as nice. You will need a foreign passport to enter, there no exceptions unless you look like a white foreign tourist perhaps they will stop checking you for a passport after you show them once.The room was old and run down but it was clean. The hot water stopped working on my last day and nobody had an explanation or what was really doing anything about it. It stopped and started with little pressure. This made me late for my excursion, if it was not a private booking I would have missed it. When I checked out all I got was a empty apology. For the price and stature they should have taken care of me.
pepi mpezirgianni: This amazing group of hotels is expanded around a large area with hotels,spa,pool,gym, restaurants, museum, cafe, walking paths, garden, fountain ect. In the interior you can admire the marble stairs,statues, carved furniture, romantic lighting and long corridors . Rooms are cozy,spacy, clean and nice decorated with big beds. It is a great experience.
