Sara Yasser Kamal: I’ve been going to Hers Gym for a while now and I’m really happy with the classes they offer. They have a wide variety of classes to choose from and the instructors are all very knowledgeable and friendly. The sauna is also a great way to relax after a workout. However, one thing that I wish they would improve is their water situation. They don’t offer water in the gym, which can be inconvenient at times. Overall though, I would definitely recommend Hers Gym to anyone looking for a great workout experience.

Karine Doche: Staff is very nice. Location is great. Gym is extremely clean. Just some constructive criticism. 2 treadmills are broken, there isn’t an elliptical which is necessary in a gym. They don’t offer towels or water for purchase which is somewhat indispensable in a gym. I am however very happy to use this gym, sauna and hot tub while on vacation here. Thank you!

Koto Qalo: Professional method of communication. Prompt and clear. They have options for classes if you wish to participate in a range of exercise options in a group or they also have a free range of equipment to use for introverts such as I. Their staff are helpful and the gym is clean, with options for the sauna or jacuzzi to use after/before the sessions. There’s a playroom for kids if you wish to bring your kids to the gym. Subscribed for a year and it was nice to use during the lockdown and winter season.

Shereen Beshr: The best gym in Egypt so far, especially Zamalek Branch Mrs. Ghada El Khodary is a great director and the staff is so professional and tends to clients needs. There are a number of foreign coaches who are nothing but spectacular very professional and very fast, I mean Zumba Instructors, but it doesn’t mean that the Egyptian instructors are less skilled, in fact most of them excel the foreign coaches. I have to commend the cleanliness and the tidiness of the place as well. I advise every woman to go and have a great deal of the phenomenal experience❤️👍🏻

Samar Alabassy: Had an amazing day. The gym is equipped with everything a lady needs for self care. Took a dip in the warm pool, tried their gym equipment, they have very helpful coaches to guide you through the workout, attended an aerial yoga class, had a very good dinner. They also have massage section and a beauty salon. The gym is strictly to support ladies and momma's, they have a daycare to watch your kiddos while you relax and enjoy your day.Day pass is affordable but a subscription is definitely cheaper if you plan to be more consistent in your self care routine.

Esraa Gamal: The gym is too crowded. All services are under a lot of pressure. And from the difficulty of one standing comfortably in the class because of the large number of people, and even when someone from the administration checks the codes of those who blocked the class, many people enter as soon as the class starts, and we remain standing, very tight, and we do not know how to move. This is except that the place for the classes depends on fans and there is no air conditioning. And due to the crowding, there is a lot of pressure on lockers, bathrooms, and even the mosque. The gym really can no longer accommodate the number of members in it, and it needs a building that is twice its area and many times the means of service in it to accommodate this number of members. I wish the administration would find a solution to this problem, because in this view, people will start looking for an alternative place.

Norman Bates: Still the best choice in Zamalek (i think there are currently no alternatives at all). But maintenance is lacking. Majority of cardio equipment does not work properly and the insistance of the staff to turn the aircondition low (even in winter) is causing a lot of unnesssary flu. Comments or requests with regard to this are usually ignored. What a waste of electric energy (and money which could be spent for maintenance instead). Staff is nice though.

Sami: This is the most overrated and basic gym I have ever visited.It's underequipped, and the machines are hard to handle and very random.There is whatsoever no relation between the machines and the rest of the equipment. It's like every single thing was bought from a random garage sale and then put on one floor.And the music is usually not motivating, it's as if it's someone's playlist they listen to when they are bored or calm (the music is very bad, usually, not every time).I would recommend trying several gyms in Maadi before spending loads of money on Samia Allouba.Overall, it's an okay gym, but I should have tried other gyms.And it has a really negative vibe!AND they make people wipe their hands with toilet paper...

For me I only join for the ladies only branch because it had a spa and big lockers and total privacy now I have to go to the mixed to find decent showers or spa or even a decent view. Not a smart business move

B D (arneszimmer83): Very dissapointed. Was looking to try out crossfit and join, so I visited the gym in the hope to get some insight. Everyone seemed busy working out when I got there but after standing around looking lost for a while some girl was kind enough to come up to me and give me her number with instructions to call later on. So I did. I was then told that if I wanted to join I had to pay for the whole month and since the month was almost over it didn't make much sense, so I waited another 10 days and then called again. This time I was told that I was welcome to come for a tryout, but that this would count as a one-time visit and that would cost me 200EGP??? Now I have never done crossfit but I was told it's got a welcoming, family like atmosphere. To be honest I felt rather off-put and definitely not welcome, with the excessive charge a clear indication that this business is not actually looking to win new members. Real shame cause I was very much looking forward to trying crossfit.
Omar Sherif: This crossfit gym has amazing trainers, friendly trainees and an overall inviting atmosphere that helps makes your workout so much enjoyable. You don't even have to call ahead if you wish to try it. Best done with a friend.

NAWAR AL KHATIB: I am from Lebanon and I must say I am very impressed by the customer service. They firstly sat me down and asked me if I wanted anything to drink before giving me a guided tour of the facility. They have a classes area, treadmills, sand bags for boxing, all techno gym and precor equipment and a “meet the team” notice board. Very friendly and community gym. They also showed me their successful body transformations so I will be joining their personal training and nutritionist programme.

Asmaa Zaki: Nice staff and good trainers.On the other hand, there isn't much space which makes it very difficult to practice if there's a class at the same time you're working out.There are no clothes hooks in the restroom; if you wanna change before or after the workout you can't hang your clothes anywhere, you just hold them in your hands. In other words you need to be skilled in juggling to change and manage not to drop anything on the floor.
Moe Um: I’m from London and in Cairo for business. I’ve used this gym everyday for a month now and have to say this place is good value for money with excellent service. They have all the necessary equipment, cross trainers, treadmills, kettle bells, TRX and a place to buy supplements. There are a number of classes and the PTs are down to earth and enjoy what they do. I’ve had most my sessions with Nadim who is a British expat and the gym manager. He has been very helpful and has a great attitude. The gym has a very friendly atmosphere and when compared to the more pricier gyms, fit 4 life feels less clinical and more relaxed. I’ll defiantly use this gym the next time I’m in Cairo. Big Thumbs up.

Staff are friendly and supportive. The classes are intense for every level athlete, and I love the diverse workout combinations. Also, the gym and the bathrooms are kept very clean!I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone looking for effective, professional classes at a reasonable price.
Wassim Atef: Good facility but without any trainer to teach you the right movement or technique. It will be suitable if you are professional or know what are you doing (in terms of movements, program) or if you go there to run on the treadmil, otherwise it's not suitable for you. It's not crossfit oriented at all, I didn't see any boxing class during a month or trx classes as they show in their marketing campaign(and btw there is only 1 British trainer) The classes were Abs (Very good), cardio (did not try it) ,i-choreo (for ladies) and Yoga(probably for ladies only). I would prefer a crossfit facilty where the coaches watch your movements (to avoid any injury) and where the coaches will offer you a real training program.

Majd Hlalat: Very clean and well organized,liked the windows view there too (zamalek branch), staff are nice, not crowded so you can schedule your gym-time any time of the day and you'll feel comfortable. Definitely recommended :D

Maha Shalan: I love this place. It's clean and well equipped. It has the most Professional trainers ever. It's expensive but it worth the money.. Update, this was last year's. Please well check before you get involved especially if you're a girl. It's not a good environment anymore.
beau hegemann: I went to almost every gym in Zamalek to try, but Edgefit is 100% te best. The equipment is all new, a lot of benches and barbels. The place is very clean and spacious.One tiny issue, there is only one proper squat rack, that should maybe be improved.

Morris Moss: DO NOT, even try to work out there ….Yes, they have some nice people working there and professional trainers BUT the management leaves nothing to be desired.The gym is made to be a money machine for them, they’ll cheat & lie and do whatever to get your money and have you join. But that’s the end of their role, if the gym is as noisy as a rap concert, hot as hell or spinning room as freezing as the North Pole- they won’t fix it. They can care less … If you’re an expat and want a reason to HATE Egypt go to them.
